Airport Taxi Belgium provides airport transfers in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Germany and the Netherlands. Our experienced drivers ensure the safe transfer of one or more passengers from one place to another.

ARTICLE 1 – INTRODUCTION

1.1 The purpose of our platform is to facilitate the booking of cabs for journeys, in particular between the airport and home.

1.2 Our general terms and conditions are permanently available on the website. No reservation will be accepted without their explicit acceptance via the box provided for this purpose. Users can download and print the terms and conditions here: https://airport-taxi-belgium.com/ .

1.3 We reserve the right to update these conditions without notice. The current version will be posted on the site as of the effective date of the changes. The conditions in force at the time of booking will apply.

ARTICLE 2 – ONLINE CAB BOOKING

2.1 To book a cab, follow these instructions:

– Select the date and time of your transfer.

– Indicate start and end points.

– Choose the number of passengers (please note that babies and children of all ages are co2.nsidered as passengers, and this must be taken into account when booking, as the number of seats is limited depending on the type of vehicle, see point 5).

– When booking, choose the number of baggage items (please see point 6 for baggage limits according to the type of vehicle chosen). Please bear in mind that you only have the option of adding one extra suitcase, but please note that additional charges will apply.

– You also have the option of adding a car seat (Airport Taxi Belgium offers baby seats on request at the time of booking. In the absence of a prior request, the customer is required to provide his/her own seat for the duration of the journey. It is important to note that if the customer does not have a car seat on the day of the transfer, the driver reserves the right to refuse the journey, and no refund will be given).

You can then make a secure payment via our website, or opt for a cash payment on the day of the transfer. However, make sure you have the exact amount prepared.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of all information provided. It is essential to check and confirm that all data is correct and complete. In the event of transfer failure due to incorrect information, such as inaccurate contact details, incorrect pick-up time, or incorrect departure location, our service accepts no responsibility and reserves the right to claim payment of the confirmed reservation. It is essential to ensure that the time indicated corresponds to the local time in the country where the transfer takes place.

Finally, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from us to confirm your booking. Be sure to check your spam folder if you don’t receive this e-mail.

ARTICLE 3 – RESERVATION BY TELEPHONE

We recommend that you book online via our website. However, we also offer the possibility of booking by telephone. When you call, please provide essential information, including transfer date and time, departure and arrival locations, number of passengers, number of pieces of luggage, and specify if a car seat is required. Make sure the cell phone number you give is correct, and have your phone ready when you arrive, as the driver may need to contact you if he or you are delayed.

To confirm the booking, Airport Taxi Belgium will send a notification e-mail indicating our acceptance to take charge of the transfer. We strongly advise you to check your inbox, including the spam folder. It is essential to understand that a simple phone call does not automatically constitute acceptance of the race.

If you do not receive an e-mail confirming that the transfer has been picked up, this means that no contract has been established between Airport Taxi Belgium and the passenger who made the reservation.

ARTICLE 4 – LAST-MINUTE RESERVATIONS

Even for last-minute bookings, all the above-mentioned information remains essential, in accordance with point 2. All conditions also apply to last-minute bookings. After verification, we will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of our ability to carry out the transfer.

ARTICLE 5 – PASSENGERS PASSENGERS

The number of passengers allowed varies according to the choice of vehicle:

Standard car: Standard capacity is 3 passengers plus driver.

Minibus: The minibus can accommodate up to 5 passengers plus the driver.

Minibus+: The Minibus+ model offers a maximum capacity of 7 passengers plus driver.

Please note that babies and children are also counted as passengers. Therefore, it is imperative to include them when booking your cab, as the number of available seats is limited depending on the vehicle chosen.

Airport Taxi Belgium can provide baby seats on request when booking. If no prior request is made, the customer is responsible for providing his own seat for the duration of the transport. Please note that if the customer does not have a car seat on the day of the transfer, the driver reserves the right to refuse the trip, and no refund will be given.

ARTICLE 6 – LUGGAGE

Luggage capacity depends on the type of vehicle chosen:

  • Standard car: Standard capacity is 3 suitcases.
  • Minibus: The minibus can accommodate up to 6 suitcases.
  • Minibus+: The Minibus+ model offers a maximum capacity of 8 suitcases.

If you need to add an extra suitcase, a €10 fee applies.

If you have oversized items, please contact us in advance by sending an e-mail to the following address: airport.taxi.belgium@gmail.com, to let us know.

The customer is required to report any excess baggage by sending an e-mail to the following address: airport.taxi.belgium@gmail.com, at least 48 hours before the passenger pick-up date. In the absence of notification, the driver reserves the right to refuse the journey. Prepaid reservations are non-refundable, and if payment has not been made in advance, the full amount must be paid.

ARTICLE 7 – PAYMENT

The cost of the transfer may vary according to various criteria, including the choice of vehicle, the number of pieces of luggage, the distance between the departure and arrival points, and any additional charges.

All payments must be made in Euros (€).

You can pay for your reservation on our website using a credit or debit card. Payments are made via the Stripe payment platform. All online payments are secure.

What’s more, you can pay cash directly to the driver on the day of your transfer. For a smooth experience, we advise you to make sure you have the exact amount in cash.

ARTICLE 8 – CUSTOMER LIABILITY

8.1 By entering into a contract with us, the customer certifies that he/she is of legal age, has the ability to read and understand our terms and conditions, and agrees to all the conditions set out.

8.2 The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided at the time of booking and must hand over the order form to the driver.

ARTICLE 9 – MODIFYING A RESERVATION

For all booking changes, please note that change requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. If you wish to make changes to your booking within this timeframe, we will do our best to accommodate your requests, subject to availability. In the event of changes to the information resulting in additional costs, the customer is responsible for all such costs.

However, if the requested changes cannot be made due to limited availability or a full schedule, no refund will be given. If the reservation has not been paid in advance, we will ask you to pay the amount due for the confirmed reservation.

Please note that we will do our best to accommodate your requests for changes, but we cannot guarantee their feasibility in the event of insufficient availability.

ARTICLE 10 – CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER

Cancellations made by the customer will only be taken into account if they are sent to our customer service department by e-mail at the following address: airport.taxi.belgium@gmail.com.

If the customer informs us of his wish to cancel the booking at least 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up date, he is entitled to a full refund of the booking.

However, if cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up date, no compensation will be granted.

If you have not paid in advance, we will ask you to pay the amount due.

Following any cancellation, you will receive an e-mail containing a cancellation confirmation from Airport Taxi Belgium.

ARTICLE 11 – CANCELLATION BY THE DRIVER

The driver has the right to cancel the reservation in the following situations:

  • If the number of passengers exceeds the vehicle’s seating capacity.
  • If the number of pieces of luggage exceeds the vehicle’s capacity.
  • Incorrect information, such as date, time, telephone number, place of departure and arrival, etc., may result in cancellation of the booking.
  • Infringement of the rules on board the cab, as defined in point 7, may result in cancellation of the booking.
  • In the event of excessive delays likely to disrupt the driver’s schedule

ARTICLE 12 – DELAYS

With regard to delays, it is the customer’s responsibility to contact Airport Taxi Belgium to report any delays, as this may result in the cancellation of the reservation and have an impact on other journeys.

However, we will do our best to keep the booking as long as it does not affect our daily schedule. Otherwise, if the delay makes it impossible to continue the booking, it will be considered cancelled. No refunds will be made, and if payment has not been made, you will be asked to settle it.

After 15 minutes beyond the agreed time without any notice of delay, the driver is entitled to consider the transfer as cancelled. In this situation, no refund will be made, and if payment has not been made, you will be asked to settle it.

ARTICLE 13 – LANGUAGE

The site is available in French, Dutch and English.

ARTICLE 14 – Transfer day

The driver may need to contact the customer by telephone before departure to arrange the meeting place.

If, for any reason, the driver is unable to arrive at the scheduled time, he must inform the customer in advance.

It is the customer’s responsibility to wait for the driver at the agreed time and place.

If the driver does not arrive at the pick-up point at the agreed time, and this delay lasts between 15 and 20 minutes, the transfer will be considered cancelled. To be eligible for compensation, customers must prove that they were actually waiting for their driver at the time and place specified at the time of booking.

ARTICLE 14 – YOUR OBLIGATIONS

14.1 By accepting our terms and conditions, the customer undertakes to be punctual for the agreed appointment. In the event of absence or delay, please inform us as soon as possible.

14.2 If we are unable to contact you due to an incorrect number or unavailability, your booking will be cancelled, and no refund will be possible.

ARTICLE 15 – RESTRICTIONS

It is strictly forbidden to smoke or consume alcoholic beverages inside the vehicle. In the event of a breach of this rule, the driver is authorized to stop the vehicle and ask the passenger to leave.

The number of passengers on board must never exceed the vehicle’s seating capacity, and additional passengers are not permitted. In the event of overruns, the driver is entitled to refuse service.

It is important to note that no refunds will be given for non-compliance with these rules.

ARTICLE 16 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

16.1 All copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights associated with our website and our company are strictly preserved in accordance with national and international laws.

16.2 It is strictly forbidden to use, copy or reproduce all or part of the content of our website without explicit authorization. This prohibition also extends to any use for illegal purposes.
